Goodbye, May Flowers | May Favorites

May was one hectic month. Just to give a quick recap: I finished all my finals and (thankfully) passed my classes (even though it took gallons of tears and overloading stress) for the spring semester, celebrated Mother's Day along with my mom's birthday, I turned 20 -Woohoo!- , and just like that I was back in school again starting my summer courses. Which brings me to my May Favorites post and as you can see from the photo above, this will be a quick, little post.

Beauty subscription boxes have always intrigued me. I mean who doesn't love a good mystery?! I've only ever tried the Beauty Box 5 subscription box and as usual with subscription boxes, some items were a hit or a miss. After doing some research and taking price ranges, brands that can be received, and quality of the products into consideration, I decided it was time to try an Ipsy Glam Bag! When it comes to skincare, I like to keep it simple, and as you can see from the photo, I will only be talking about three main products that I've come to love. My skin has always been fairly dry, so often times it's usually hard for me to find products that actually provide that layer of hydration that is needed. Hidden Gems | Recent Beauty Purchases

In my previous post I discussed some great products that I had found at Marshalls during the month of April. Since one of the items was a name brand item that is found at many beauty stores, such as ULTA, I decided to do some more research and see if Marshalls happens to carry other name brand beauty products. While I didn't find much on Marshalls, I did find that people were finding items at T.J. Maxx, such as Too Faced, Kat Von D, and Nars. I sort of assumed that since Marshalls and T.J. Maxx are sister stores, I had to find some similar products at Marshalls. To my surprise, I did!

April was a busy month for me and I didn't really have time to go shopping for anything other than essentials. But at the beginning of the month I was able to make a quick trip to Marshalls and found some great deals! Out of everything I purchased, I found two products in particular that I absolutely love and will mostly definitely be purchasing again.

Patches | Revamp Your Suede Bag

Suede has to be one of my favorite materials because its simple and often neutral colors pertain to my style a lot. I recently got this small suede bag from Anthropologie, that's able to hold all of my essentials, but I felt it could use some sprucing up for the spring and coming summer. Time Travel | Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando

While taking a break from my original blog, I took a trip to Disney World and Universal Orlando with one of my best friends as a senior trip. We went in June of 2015, it was an awfully crowded and sweltering hot week, but well worth it, so I thought I would share some photos from the trip! A day was spent in Epcot and another was spent in Magic Kingdom. Then 3 days were spent in Universal Orlando, making sure that we got to experience everything The Wizarding World of Harry Potter had to offer, because priorities (sorry Mickey Mouse).

You're Making Me Blush | Stila Aqua Glow Watercolor Blush

Back in December 2016 I received an ULTA gift card for Christmas and I finally got around to taking a trip to the store. Better late than never right? I probably shouldn't tell you that it's also practically across the street from me. Nevertheless, as I walked through the aisles I came across this liquid blush by Stila. It's called Aqua Glow Watercolor Blush and is in the color Shimmering Lotus.
